Council confirms appointments to Bike & Ped and Traffic Safety panels

The Canby City Council approved two appointments during its Aug. 5 meeting. Mark Johnson was appointed to the Bike & Pedestrian Committee with a term through June 30, 2029; Mark White was appointed to the Traffic Safety Commission with a term through June 30, 2027. Both nominations were moved, seconded and approved 6–0.
Council and staff said the two volunteers will help the city address active transportation and traffic-safety priorities already discussed at the meeting.
