Midlothian ISD trustees elect Ryan Timm president, Jessica Ward vice president

Ryan Timm was elected president of the Midlothian ISD Board of Trustees at the May 18 reorganization, following a nomination by Trustee Richard Peña and a board vote that passed 6-0-1 (one absent). Jessica Ward was elected vice president in a subsequent nomination by Gary Vineyard; that vote also passed 6-0-1.
For the office of secretary, Richard Peña nominated John Knight; the motion passed 5-1-1, with Trustee Ed Harrison voting against and one member absent. The reorganization took place after the board reconvened to open session and followed the administration of oaths earlier in the evening.
