Trustees approve consent agenda including bond program contracts, surplus bus resolution and election agreements

At the April 13 meeting trustees approved a broad consent agenda covering proposed policy revisions, bond-program guaranteed maximum prices and retainage payments, procurement renewals, a resolution declaring 65 buses surplus, and joint election agreements for the May 2, 2026 trustee election.
The Lewisville ISD Board approved its consent agenda unanimously (7-0), authorizing several bond-program actions and routine procurement items. Consent items included Guaranteed Maximum Price approvals for 2023 and 2024 bond work (fire alarm replacements and a stadium press box sound refresh), authorization to pay final retainage on tennis court resurfacing for the 2024 bond sale, and approval of a high-school stadium LED lighting project and a middle-school track replacement as noted on the agenda.
The consent package also included routine business: proposed budget amendments for the General Fund and Child Nutrition Fund; cooperative purchase authority; renewals of job-order-contracts for plumbing, HVAC, concrete repairs and theater supplies; RFP awards for catering and career-and-technical education supplies; an Access and Stockpiling Agreement for district property west of the Josey Lane/Kingwood Hills development; and joint election agreements with Denton and Tarrant counties for the May 2, 2026 trustee election. The Board also adopted a resolution to declare 65 school buses surplus and authorize sale by auction.
