Board approves lawn-care contract, student insurance and property insurance renewals

The board also approved a student insurance policy with Health Special Risk, Inc. for $55,510 and $1,608 in catastrophic coverage. Separately, the board approved renewal of property and casualty insurance with Texas RMC for $477,910 for the 2024–25 school year.
Each contract was approved on unanimous 6-0 votes recorded in the minutes. The motions included the vendor names and dollar amounts; the minutes do not record additional procurement detail such as the procurement method (competitive bid vs. sole source) or contract length beyond the single-year renewal/annual service descriptions.
