Superintendent Dr. Stu Musick presented the district’s beginning‑of‑year data at the Sept. 16 meeting, reporting total enrollment of 3,106 students. Campus enrollments listed in the minutes were: High School 924; Bizzell 16; Junior High 691; Webb 646; High Point 520; Brule 336. District attendance was recorded at 95.57%.
Dr. Musick and Dr. Tracy Stone also reported instructional updates: completion of BOY (beginning-of-year) assessments, progress on HB 3 board goals, newly implemented science materials, math professional development, and targeted interventions. The minutes note GEAR UP Week scheduled for Sept. 25–29, with 36% of seniors having received counseling and 227 college applications in progress.
