Nacogdoches ISD board approves budget amendments

The Nacogdoches ISD Board of Trustees approved proposed budget amendments at a special meeting Aug. 26 after Chief Financial Officer Ben Eberlan presented the changes.
"Motion to approve the budget amendments as presented," the minutes record; the motion, made by Trustee T.C. Grohman, M.D., and seconded by Trustee Mindy Winslow, passed by a 6–0 vote with Trustee James Montoya absent. The board convened at 12:00 p.m. at the E.J. Campbell District Support Center Annex Board Room.
Board President Farshid Niroumand said a quorum was present and that the meeting had been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. No public comment requests were turned in by the deadline, the minutes state. The board returned to open session at 1:07 p.m. after a closed executive session and took no action from that session.
