CFO Kati Jones presented a budget workshop to the Board covering preliminary assumptions, projected revenues and anticipated expenditures. She highlighted key funding drivers including Average Daily Attendance (ADA), property value projections and known staffing or programmatic changes that will affect next year’s budget.
Jones also presented preliminary property values to give trustees an early estimate of the district’s taxable value for planning purposes; final certified values will be issued later in the year. The Board was reminded that these early figures are for planning only and do not constitute final tax-rate calculations.
