The purchase was approved on a motion by Kevin Virdell, seconded by Gary Boshears, with all board members voting in favor. The minutes state the replacement is necessary because the existing switches have reached end‑of‑life and support for the equipment is no longer available.
District IT staff will schedule replacements and coordinate any necessary outages to minimize disruption to operations.
