The Nixon‑Smiley CISD Board approved its consent agenda on July 13, 2026, which included routine administrative items and reports. Separately, the board approved a compensation package on recorded vote moved by Bud Box and seconded by Chris Villasana; Lott, Box, Mendez, Tschoepe, Villasana and Newman voted aye.
