Pleasant View staff brought forward a plat amendment for the Majestic subdivision (395 West and 377 West, 4400 North) to redesignate wetlands and require an easement along the west side of the property to protect a channel. Staff said the Army Corps of Engineers has agreed with the re-delineation and engineering recommended an easement rather than a narrower wetlands label so the water channel cannot be altered.
The commission discussed lot renumbering (lots would appear as 21 and 22 following the change), potential geotechnical study requirements depending on slope, and the need for the plat to be recorded through Weber County. "The Army Corps of Engineers agreed with this re redeligination," the staff member said, describing the support for the proposed delineation. The commission approved the plat amendment with engineering conditions; staff will track the required drawings and easements prior to recordation.
