The board approved acceptance and expenditure of an MIIA grant totaling $9,153.50 to cover first-year installation and service for fleet GPS tracking software in DPW vehicles. Staff said the GPS units will improve safety and snowplow coordination; the board approved the grant acceptance by unanimous voice vote.
Separately, the board voted to waive building permit fees for the Dover Town Library Pavilion project and accepted a $10,000 gift from the Friends of the Dover Council on Aging to fund programs and services for seniors; both items were approved without objection as part of the consent agenda. The consent agenda also included acceptance of donated DripDrop electrolyte sticks for the fire department and approval of updated meeting minutes and a revised IRS reimbursement rate.
