The O'DONNELL ISD Board of Trustees on May 7 approved an agreement under which Conterra Ultra Broadband, LLC transfers any and all ownership of a monopole located on district property to the district, and the district releases Conterra from obligations to remove the pole under a prior settlement resolution adopted Dec. 17, 2024.
The motion (agenda item 2624) was moved by Trustee Landon Mires and seconded by Trustee Jerry Castro. The public minutes record the vote as Yes: Stidham, Halfmann, Mires, Pedroza, Castro, Hancock; No: none. The motion passed 6-0.
The minutes reference the earlier Board resolution adopted Dec. 17, 2024 as the settlement that originally contained removal obligations; the May 7 agreement documents the transfer of ownership and mutual releases. The public minutes do not include the full settlement text or financial terms, nor do they record staff presentation details beyond the motion and vote.
