Navarro ISD sets Nov. 5 trustee elections, posts filing deadline Aug. 19

Pursuant to the Texas Election Code, the board approved an Order of Trustee Elections to be held on Nov. 5, 2024, to elect three at-large trustees to four-year terms and one at-large trustee to complete a two-year unexpired term. The board approved contracting with Guadalupe County election services to administer the uniform election date and posted a filing deadline: applications are due Monday, Aug. 19, 2024, by 5:00 PM. Applications are available online or at Central Office.
Trustee Clint Scheib moved to approve the Order of Regular Elections and post the Notice of Election; Trustee Lacey Gosch seconded and the motion passed 4-0. The seats up for election were identified as those currently held by Renee Rehfeld, Melissa Sartain and Clint Scheib, plus one unexpired seat formerly held by Hank Dietert.
