Trustees voted to approve the Notice of General Election for May 2, 2026, on a motion moved by Ramon Venegas and seconded by Crystal Marquez; the motion carried with six recorded yes votes. The board also approved revisions to the 2026–2027 academic instructional calendar following a motion by Crystal Marquez, seconded by Ramon Venegas.
On financial matters, Trustee Brandon Butler moved and Trustee Gerard Renteria seconded a motion to approve all expenditures, payroll, capital outlays, utilities and investment reports; the motion passed with six trustees voting in favor. The board additionally approved consideration of personnel issues (employment, resignations, reassignments, duties, performance problems and evaluations) on a motion by Gerard Renteria seconded by Ramon Venegas. The TAPR report was noted as not acted on and will be presented at the next meeting.
