Superintendent announces new hires and three resignations at Perryton ISD

"Mr. Brown announced the hiring of Felicia Robinson, teacher at PJH and Chloe Chisum, teacher at Williams. They were both offered probationary contracts. Thomas Robinson was hired as a PHS teacher and coach on a dual probationary contract. Kiley Higginbotham was also hired as a teacher on a part-time contract for PHS," the minutes state. Brown also announced resignations from Dana Walker, Rhyan Daugherty and Elli Navarette; the minutes do not provide reasons or effective dates for those resignations.
Board members did not take separate action on the hires in the public minutes beyond including them in the Superintendent's Report. The minutes record the staffing changes as part of routine personnel updates to the board.
