The Pasadena ISD Board of Trustees adopted TASB Localized Policy Update 126 at its Feb. 24, 2026, meeting and passed two board resolutions concerning public information response days and Senate Bill 11.
General Counsel Jodie Kennemer presented the policy update to trustees. The board approved a resolution designating non-business days for purposes of responding to public information requests for the 2026 calendar year; the board also approved a separate resolution concerning Senate Bill 11, which pertains to a daily period of prayer and the reading of the Bible or another religious text. Each measure passed unanimously, 7-0, on motions recorded in the minutes.
The minutes show the motions were formal board actions; the resolution regarding Senate Bill 11 was discussed and acted on during the Policy Section.
