Superintendent Brian Bobbitt updated the Board of Trustees on district construction projects and new external partnerships. He said New Boston ISD will partner with Texas A&M–Texarkana and Level Up through the Texas Rural Education Collaborative and that Ford Motor Company and Johnston Ford plan to offer mechanic training for juniors and seniors beginning this fall.
The presentation was informational; no action was required. Trustees were given the opportunity to ask questions but no substantive follow-up motions were made at the meeting.
