Board selects BRW Architects for Highland Park Elementary parking expansion

Trustee Roya Scott moved to select BRW Architects "based on their demonstrated competence and qualifications to provide design and construction administration services in connection with the Highland Park Elementary School Parking Expansion Project; and authorize the Superintendent to negotiate a contract with BRW Architects in a form approved by counsel for the District for a fair and reasonable price in accordance with Texas Government Code Section 2254.004(b)." Trustee Tonya Mitchell seconded the motion, which passed 7-0.
The selection authorizes the superintendent to negotiate contract details consistent with the referenced procurement statute; the motion includes authority to execute a contract approved by district counsel.
