Mario Umana delivered the juvenile probation monthly report after an agenda amendment to allow the misdemeanor probation item. He said there are 88 juveniles currently on probation, 18 cases closed last month, 13 new cases, and $1,342.00 in fees collected; the state contacted the office about two cases.
Umana also provided the misdemeanor probation report in the director’s absence: 40 new cases in the previous month, 32 closed, and $18,387.73 collected in fees for June. Commissioners accepted the reports and did not take separate formal action beyond placing the reports on record.
