The Pilot Point Independent School District Board of Trustees convened a special meeting at 5:00 p.m. on May 4, 2026, at the district administration board room and adjourned four minutes later after taking two routine actions.
Board President Renee Polk confirmed a quorum; six trustees were present and one was absent. The pledges to the U.S. and Texas flags were led by Polk, and Trustee Lora Renfro gave the invocation. No members of the public signed up to address the board.
After a short presentation of an Employment Report for New Hires, the board approved the report. Trustee Jacob Stuckly then moved to adjourn; Trustee Justin Chance seconded. "I move to adjourn," Stuckly said, and the board voted 6–0 to end the meeting at 5:04 p.m.
The special meeting minutes list staff present, including Superintendent Dr. Shannon Fuller and Chief Financial Officer Brittany Floyd, and two audience members. The meeting record does not include extended discussion, detailed personnel listings, or additional agenda items.
