Specialist and coordinators gave grade-band breakout data for elementary, middle and high school STAAR subjects and disaggregated outcomes for emergent bilingual and special education populations.
Superintendent Alejandro Elias used the TAPR presentation to emphasize teacher-led gains and the impact of the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). "It's a testament — that's why we have 74% of our teachers on the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Program," Dr. Elias said while thanking staff. District leaders also cited CCMR metrics and high dual-credit participation (PSJA led South Texas with 174 South Texas College dual-credit graduates). The district committed to continuing targeted campus supports, interventions and the Countdown to Benchmark II and STAAR.
