Pampa ISD reports accountability work with Region 16 and a 195-student enrollment decline; personnel hires approved

Superintendent Hugh Piatt told the board Sept. 23 that Pampa ISD is working with Region 16 on Effective Schools Framework training and that Region 16 will begin conducting academic diagnostic reviews at each campus. The diagnostic reports will guide Targeted Improvement Plans for individual campuses.
Piatt also reviewed enrollment data and reported "there are currently 195 less students enrolled in Pampa ISD compared to the approximate same time last year." The minutes include the co-op purchasing report in the board packet with no questions recorded. Later in the meeting, the board approved personnel the superintendent recommended; Denise Intemann moved to employ the individuals listed on Exhibit A, Cade Taylor seconded, and the motion carried unanimously 7-0.
