Council discussed proposed revisions to water, tap and capacity fees (Ordinances 11-2026 and 12-2026) but elected to table both items to allow additional review and a workshop with the staff who prepared the proposals.
Councilmember Jeff Barr asked that the fee proposals be presented in a workshop so members can get comfortable with the proposed changes and ask clarifying questions. "I'd like to table ordinance 11 dash 26 and 12 dash 20 26," he said, and the motion to table passed after a second.
Council intends to schedule a workshop with staff, review the fee structures in more depth and return to council with any amendments. The motion to table was approved by voice vote.
