Later the board approved a quote from SCTelcom to replace the school phone system using school-safety funds; that motion also passed 5–0.
The purchases follow superintendent and principal comments that curriculum and classroom technology needs are being addressed ahead of the new school year. District documents show the Burlington Education Foundation committed to covering costs associated with new computers for the upcoming year.
