Port Aransas ISD extends administrative contracts for five administrators
Summary

After an executive-session discussion of personnel and administrator contracts, the board returned to open session and voted 7–0 to extend two-year administrative contracts for James Garrett, Tisha Piwetz, Steve Reaves, George Lerma and Dr. David Swartwout for the 2026–2027 and 2027–2028 school years. Marnie Pate made the motion and Marc Hofhiens seconded; the vote was recorded by roll call.
