At the Feb. 18 meeting the South Burlington Development Review Board moved to close the hearings on two Beta Technologies applications. Committee member (on the record) moved to close SP2603 (the master‑plan amendment/sketch plan) and the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Later the board moved to close SP2604 (the childcare site plan) with specific conditions.
The board recorded the motion to close SP2604 and set three principal conditions before final action: (1) a revised parking plan that eliminates or reconfigures noncompliant head‑in spaces and provides required ADA parallel spaces; (2) wetland verification in the record (either an ANR‑approved desktop delineation or a field delineation and written wetland scientist opinion); and (3) submission of slope‑stability or geotechnical recommendations if any steep‑slope impacts remain. The motions passed by voice; no roll-call tally was provided on the record for either motion.
