Paris ISD approves multiple personnel moves, hires two assistant principals

The Paris ISD Board of Trustees reviewed the human resources report listing resignations and transfers across district campuses and approved superintendent recommendations to employ new professional personnel. In open session the board voted unanimously, 7-0, to approve employment of Bryan Flake as Assistant Principal at PJH (probationary, 11-month) and King Shabazz as Assistant Principal at Aikin Elementary (probationary, 11-month). The motion to approve the superintendent's recommendations was made by Trustee Cliff Kerby and seconded by Trustee Terry Davis.
A separate employment report (posted as part of the minutes) lists additional hires for June 2026, including classroom teachers, a registered nurse, instructional coaches and a multi-assignment PE teacher/coach. The posted report provides contract types (probationary, long-term substitute, multi-assignment) but the minutes do not include salaries or personnel files.
