Paris ISD board adopts 2026-27 budget, approves salary schedules

The Paris Independent School District Board of Trustees adopted the 2026-2027 budget on June 18, 2026, voting unanimously, 7-0, to approve the plan. Trustee Cliff Kerby moved to adopt the budget, and Trustee LaWanda Ladell seconded; the motion carried without opposition.
At the same meeting the board also approved the salary schedules for 2026-2027 on a motion by Trustee Anne Biard, seconded by Trustee Terry Davis, and approved budget amendments earlier in the agenda. The business manager presented an executive summary, budget summary, tax summary and monthly investment report prior to the recorded votes. Motion records show all budget-related motions carried unanimously, 7-0.
