The South Burlington City Council unanimously adopted its 2026–27 rules of procedure at the March 5 organizational meeting, approving the same document used last year with updated names and dates. Councilor Andrew moved to adopt the rules and the motion passed by voice vote.
The council also approved its regular meeting schedule (first and third Mondays at 6:30 p.m.), designated the other paper as the city's official paper of record and named TD Bank as the official depository; staff noted the newspaper’s headquarters has moved to Stowe. Chair Tim confirmed the approvals as unanimous.
"We have adopted the council rules of procedure," a councilor said after the vote, and the session proceeded to further organizational appointments.
