Finance Committee reviews Fund 21 capital-project timelines; MJH chiller completed

At the Nov. 18 Finance Committee meeting, Dr. Teri Shaw walked the committee through the Fund 21 project list and timelines. The minutes record that the MJH chiller replacement is completed and that MES/MIS playground, parking-lot and access-road work, as well as a hard-surface play area and MES parking-lot expansion, were scheduled for completion in Fall 2024. Several other itemsMES and MIS fire alarm panel replacementsare scheduled for Summer 2025; an MJHS storage shed is expected Spring 2025.
The committee also noted that MES preschool and S-Wing unit ventilators were out for bid in December 2024 for expected completion in Fall 2025, and that flooring projects are planned to be bid in February 2025 for spring completion. The minutes list multiple discrete tasks, giving the Board a near-term schedule for capital maintenance and upgrades funded from Fund 21.
