Trustee Linda Padron seconded the motion.
The motion listed specific LOCAL policy codes to be added, revised or deleted, including BJCF(LOCAL) (Superintendent — nonrenewal), CAA(LOCAL) (Fiscal management goals and financial ethics), DC(LOCAL) and DH(LOCAL) (employment practices and standards of conduct), DP/ DPA/ DPB(LOCAL) (personnel positions including principals), EHAD(LOCAL) and EHBB(LOCAL) (instructional and gifted/talented program items), and FFF(LOCAL) (student welfare and safety). The board recorded the motion as passing 6–0. The update was adopted as policy guidance for district administration to implement and incorporate into the district's localized policy manual.
