Petrolia CISD elects board officers for 2026–2027

The Petrolia CISD Board of Trustees completed its annual reorganization at a regular meeting on May 26, electing officers for the 2026–2027 term.
Bryce Tucker was elected Board President in a motion by Trustee Chad Trietsch, seconded by Trustee LeAnne Henderson; Zach Bennett was elected Vice‑President in a motion by Trietsch, seconded by Scott Adams; and Madison Kunkel was elected Recording Secretary in a motion by LeAnne Henderson, seconded by Zach Bennett. Each motion passed with a recorded tally of Yes: 6, No: 0, Absent: 1.
The votes followed routine roll-call procedures recorded at the meeting. Jena Fleming, administrative assistant and notary public, administered the oath of office to Zach Bennett for Board Member — Place 6; Fleming said the oath for Madison Kunkel (Place 7) will be administered later in the PCISD administration office.
The newly elected officers will serve through the 2026–2027 term. The board recessed into executive session later in the evening and adjourned at 8:50 PM.
