Creative District recertified; $7,500 grant to support Maves Park work

Council Member Will Menzies reported that the Creative District was recertified and received a $7,500 grant. He said Creative District and Parks & Rec formed a task force to work on Maves Park and that part of the grant funding is planned to support a Western student project (one of about twenty students) to produce design or program options.
Menzies said Arbor Day had a strong turnout and thanked town staff for enabling cross-board collaboration. Parks & Rec will meet the following day to review the vision for Twisp Park and other items, and swim team registration is open with returning swimmers registered through May 23.
