Commissioner Patrick Norwill reported on a Maves Park working-group meeting attended by Confluence Art, Methow Arts and Council Member Menzies. Norwill said the group is moving forward with conceptual ideas and that student Wyatt Southworth is building a picnic table; he requested an invoice so the Town could pay for materials and labor.
Commissioner Allen Jircik moved to enter a contract with Liberty Bell High School for up to $375 to cover the picnic table; Commissioner Andrew Brandstetter seconded the motion and the Commission voted unanimously to approve the contract. The contract is intended to pay the school/student for the table materials and workmanship; staff will process the invoice and return with documentation as needed.
