Council approved a set of routine resolutions during the meeting.
Nicole presented a resolution recognizing July 2025 as Parks and Recreation Month in accordance with the National Parks and Recreation Association; council moved, seconded and approved the measure. Council also approved amended bylaws for the Parks and Open Space Board to realign term language with county ordinance 32-20-2025 after staff explained the change. Finally, council adopted a congratulatory resolution recognizing the Aynor High School Lady Blue Jackets for winning the SCHSL Class 3A state championship (02/2025); staff said Al Allen would present the resolution at the council meeting.
All three measures passed during the consent or routine portion of the meeting without extended debate.
