The Horry County Planning Commission recorded three clear workshop actions: approval of the workshop and meeting minutes from the 24th and the 1st, approval of the staff-proposed street-name slate and a motion to adjourn. The chair announced each outcome after motions were seconded, for example stating "Motion carries" after the motion to approve the minutes and similarly for the street-name slate; the meeting closed after an aye vote on the adjournment motion.
All rezoning and development-agreement items presented in the workshop were not decided on at this meeting and will return for public hearings where the commission can take formal votes. Staff will assemble required technical packets, and the commission instructed staff to follow up on outstanding items such as stormwater remediation and traffic analyses before those hearings.
