NISD selects Option 2 for property and liability insurance renewal
Summary

Assistant Superintendent Bill Jardell introduced insurance advisors Candace Curiel and Jimmy Harrison, who presented three options to renew property, equipment, cyber liability, crime, professional liability, general liability, automobile liability and pollution liability coverage. Candace Curiel summarized the three options and their coverage scope.
The Board approved Option 2 for renewal, covering the district for the period April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027. The motion was made by Tonya Mitchell, seconded by Jerry Albanese, and passed unanimously, 5-0.
