Commission approves batch of street-name designations across Horry County postal districts

The Horry County Planning Commission voted to approve a group of street-name designations proposed by staff, covering several postal districts in the county. Staff member Grayson listed new names including Golf Lane (Conway 29526), Bluff Oak Drive and Olive Oak Court (Maple Farms), Pei Pei Court (29527) and Atlantis Road (Blue Heron Retreat); the chair then called for and recorded a motion to approve the set, which passed by voice vote.
The commission’s action was procedural: staff said no public hearing was required for the street-name items and presented the list for the commission’s consent. “In the Conway Postal District in 29526, we have Golf Lane,” Grayson said during the presentation. The approval will be reflected in the next printed minutes and in county addressing records maintained by staff.
