Dr. Steven Beagle briefed the board regarding House Bill 3372, which requires districts to review outside employment for administrators who work with outside educational entities. He said the district has two administrators in such arrangements and that none of the outside work is performed during district work hours.
The Board accepted the superintendent's recommendations and approved contracts for Heather Stephenson with Inclusive Assessment and Consulting, LLC and for Shaneigh Smith with ESC Region 5, finding the written contracts were provided, posed no harm to the district and did not present a conflict of interest. Motions passed unanimously, 5-0.
