Assistant Superintendent Erica Gauthier outlined plans for the 2026 summer-school schedule, describing programs for elementary, middle and high school students and specialized offerings for emergent bilingual and ESL students. She said the district will again offer the Bulldog Summer Learning Academy for elementary students and listed a Vocabulary Development Class for ESL/Bilingual students in grades 1'05.
Gauthier also said the district is working to transition summer programming to a four-day week to encourage higher attendance, and noted that both middle schools will undergo technology rewiring this summer, so secondary summer school will be held at the high school. The Board approved the 2026 summer-school programs by a unanimous vote.
