According to meeting records, trustees reconvened from an executive-session training at 8:30 p.m. and addressed academic goals and STAAR performance as an agenda item; the record notes explicitly that "No action taken; postponed until regular board meeting on October 24, 2024." Jarod Wright later moved to adjourn the meeting and Jeremy Norman seconded; the meeting adjourned at 10:11 p.m.
The postponement means trustees will return to the same item at the Oct. 24 regular meeting, where any changes to district goals or responses to the 2024 STAAR results would be considered in public session.
