Bartlett trustees ask about privacy, auto updates and staffing as portal is readied for August release
Summary
Trustees asked whether the portal will be live, how often it will be updated, whether addresses or incentives will be displayed, and whether automation can reduce manual updates; staff said updates will be monthly, the portal currently omits addresses for privacy and they will explore automation.

Trustees asked whether the portal will be live and whether it will include contractor addresses or incentives. Presenters said the portal will include project costs and contractor business names but they did not include addresses by default to respect privacy. Staff said economic‑development incentive data may be compiled on a separate page later.
Trustees also asked whether the portal could auto-update from the permitting system. Presenters said an auto-update option exists in theory but they have not yet found the right integration; meanwhile the staff will update the portal monthly via a click-and-import process. Katie pointed out the chart footer will show the last update timestamp: "date updated, August 3 at 09:30 in the morning of 2026." Presenters said they will draft short instructions for callers and post announcements in the BART letter and on Facebook prior to public launch.
