"So for the deck permit issued this year, there's 46 deck permits that have been submitted for approval," Katie said, and she added there are "181 fence permits" submitted this year as another example. Trustee Hopkins pointed to a recent large industrial permit and said the portal shows project costs that explain data spikes: "that was a $404,000 building permit for an industrial build out." Presenters confirmed the portal will list commercial projects as well as residential ones and will show permit fees alongside project cost.
