Councilor Craig described associated community events: a Model T Club tour, a downtown event on Sept. 10 with music and food trucks, and an appearance of an official Declaration of Independence exhibit in Presque Isle for public appointments. The chair also announced city-sponsored fireworks at the fair on Friday night and listed several municipal employment and board vacancies. The council approved the consent agenda without objection.
