Nate presented several personnel and classification items and the board approved each by voice vote.
On behalf of the district attorney's office, Nate asked to create a paralegal assistant position (CSEA grade J) so an incoming trainee can be in place when a long‑time paralegal retires; the board approved the position. Nate also proposed reclassifying a filled cleaner position (CSEA grade A) to a custodian position (CSEA grade D) because the employee performs additional duties such as painting and light electrical work; the reclassification passed.
Finally, staff presented 2026 midyear salary adjustments for management employees who missed increments; the board approved moving eligible staff to the appropriate steps consistent with the pay grid. Motions were made, seconded and approved for each item.
