Parks staff updated the advisory committee on two park projects. The dog‑park site has had roughly 150 trees cleared, ground leveled and water stubbed; staff said fencing bids are being prepared and fixtures and amenities will follow the installation of the fence.
On Miracle Field, staff said most of the legwork is complete and that they are preparing to pour the rubberized playing surface, with a December deadline referenced as the project target. Members noted weather can delay site work and that internal staff has completed substantial work without heavy contractor spending.
