He also said crews repaired about 65 failed stormwater pipes last year, removed roughly 1,600 tons of debris from drainage structures and swept about 934 miles of streets in FY26. Staff stressed the importance of strategic scheduling and coordination with utilities to avoid rework and to maximize pavement funding.
