Councilor Karen Phillips referenced pending state legislation that would set 15-mph limits around child care centers.
Jennifer Robinson suggested bringing the petition and concerns to the traffic advisory meeting. Mayor Sam Maxson said he would check when the traffic advisory board can meet and that a future meeting would be scheduled by the end of the week. Councilor Rick Lafferty and Public Works Supervisor Taylor Keith noted drivers are still bypassing a speed bump near the Baptist Church; Public Works is working toward a solution.
