The Marlow Public Schools Board voted Aug. 3, 2026 to accept resignations since the last meeting and to approve multiple temporary hires and adjunct contracts. The minutes include the name Randall Staggs in the resignations section and show the board approved a slate of hirings and adjunct appointments after an executive session on personnel.
After returning to open session, the board approved Kobey Kizarr as an adjunct for High School Chemistry I (Course 5051) and Chemistry II (Course 5052), and Madison LeGrange as an adjunct for High School Speech & Drama (Course 4221). The board also approved hiring Tammy Miller as a temporary High School Computer teacher; Naton Herchock as Library Media Specialist Assistant at the middle school; Natalee Young as a high school custodian; and Mykayla Rowe as a Child Nutrition employee. Each motion recorded a maker and a seconder and was carried with unanimous recorded votes.
Motions related to personnel were moved and seconded by board members (for example, the adjunct appointment of Kobey Kizarr was moved by Larry Johnson and seconded by Chad Choate) and recorded as carried with five "Yea" votes in the minutes. The minutes do not include additional detail about employment contracts beyond noting they are temporary for the 2026–27 school year.
