County finishes Wardsville road work; state handling Ashbury Way markings, clerk given contact for follow-up

Maintenance Supervisor Gary Frank told trustees Aug. 5 that county crews had finished the village's road work except for placing rock on shoulders at a couple of locations in Deer Haven and on Falcon Lane. He said the county indicated the pavement markings on Ashbury Way would be handled by the state, but he has been unable to reach a state contact.
Frank provided Clerk Libby Chipman a phone number for a state contact, Mike Belt (573-751-3582), and asked the clerk to continue outreach. The Board did not direct immediate additional county work; trustees noted the shoulder rock and the outstanding marking issue for follow-up.
